Clemence communicated clearly and was very responsive to any questions we had. The area was very cute but If you are staying in this area of tulum I would recommend having a car as it isn’t the most walkable, the beach is not super close and taxis are quite expensive. But otherwise the house was lovely and we had a great time!"

"The house is beautiful and very comfortable, it has all the necessary kitchen and cleaning utensils. There is a lot to do in the neighborhood. The streets are not paved and there are several constructions around but the place is worth every penny. Clémence was always attentive."

"We spent a wonderful stay in Casa flamingo. La Veleta is a very nice,peaceful and secure neighborhood. You are not so far from beach if you have a car or with bike. You can feel the Tulum pueblo vibes which are really most interesting than the « Hostalera zona » vibes. Clemence was waiting for us when we arrived and give us good advice to enjoy the Tulum’s life. She was always very reactive when we had questions. The house is great and we enjoy to spend time by the pool. At night there are bars and restaurants close to the house. We found also a good bakery for the breakfast (very important for french people :-). Everything was perfect. We highly recommend Casa flamingo. If we come back we already know where to go!!!"

"This was my 2nd time staying at Casa Flamingo because the 1st time was so good! This time was great as well. We did have some trouble getting into the property but Stephan was responsive as usual so we did not have to wait long. The area of La Valeta has grown so while we had the privacy of the casa it was a very short walk to Calle 7 for a quick bite or some light shopping. Our hosts gave us recommendations for things to do and see and referred us to a private driver who was very helpful getting from/to the airport. What is so important is the character of our hosts. They are responsive, of course, and helpful, sure. But even more they are very kind and sincere which is why I returned to Casa Flamingo a 2nd time…and may return a 3rd time! Thank you to our hosts!!"

"We had a lovely week long stay with the goal of doing absolutely nothing but lounge by the pool and relax: Mission Accomplished! Stéphan & Clémence were extremely communicative, helpful, and friendly. We even got to meet them and their adorable puppy Negroni was a delight. Things to note: 1) Tulum is growing at a very fast pace, and there is inevitable construction going on pretty much everywhere. Headphones/ear plugs for napping at the pool yielded issues at all. No construction going on over the weekend which was a bonus! 2) The roads are terrible, if you rent, get insurance. (Not a review of the house, just a heads up that the small road you turn on to get to the house is very bumpy) 3) The pool area has shade in the morning and late afternoon, but there is no shade over the hottest part of midday. It might be nice to have an umbrella or awning installed. There are two hooks for a hammock if you have one! 4) Take advantage of the grill!"

Our hosts were very responsive when a few small issues came up. If you are planning on staying in Tulum Centro, I would definitely recommend staying there."

"Stéphan & Clémence's house is amazing! Beautifully designed with big rooms, a long shaped swimming pool visible from the living room that has the best sofa ever. Clémence is a perfect host. She gave us a lot of recommendations, was always responsive, and made sure we had a good stay in Tulum. The kids loved it! So glad we stayed here. Also, there are so many great restaurants in walking distance - it's just the perfect place!"

"We had an amazing stay at Casa Flamingo! The house was even better than expected. So beautiful with so much natural light. Every bedroom has access to the pool which was great. The hosts gave great recommendations, especially for a private chef to come to the house. That was a big highlight of our trip. My only tips would be to get to know the location beforehand as it can be far depending what you are looking to do during your stay & to keep an eye on when Tulum is having the planned power outages. Thankfully we were able to see these online beforehand and plan accordingly. Overall this was a perfect spot for our family vacation and I would definitely stay again!"

"Overall the accommodations were okay. Everyone had their own room and bathroom and that’s a must when traveling with a group of women. A lot of construction in the area, airbnb can be hard to find at night time. The black wall is what saved us and the hotel around the corner. We didn’t feel unsafe. The only issue we had was power was out at 3:00am until maybe noon and we were not communicated with that this would occur. From what the locals advised us was that it was a scheduled power outage. We made the best of it however I just wished their was better communication. We came we saw we conquered Tulum. Overall an okay stay."

The place was a little difficult to find at first but once we figured out the route it was actually pretty simple to get to. We felt pretty safe at the airbnb even when we were coming home at around 11pm! Beds were very comfortable as well. I would highly recommend this place!!"

"Nice place to stay in Tulum; Clemence took great care of us. Neighborhood was a little bit of a construction zone when we visited, but felt safe at night with some nice night life in the form of small food stalls and bars. Strongly recommend the Tres Galleones up the street (not the one in downtown). Interior was well furnished and clean, beds comfortable and working AC in every room. Looking forward to visiting again if we're in Tulum!"

"This was a wonderful house! I would definitely stay here again! The neighborhood roads are a bit precarious because there is a lot of construction in the area but the house and location are great! There were lots of local restaurants within a couple of blocks and you’re are only about a mile from the main strip. Having the bicycles was fantastic and we used them frequently. We loved our stay here."

"This is a fantastic house, close to town and away from the hotel zone. The pool is wonderful, bedrooms and bathrooms are quite large and very nice. The laundry mat is around the corner and super cheap. The street food on the corners at night are wonderful and cheap. The bikes that are available to use, are fun and just nice to explore the side roads and back roads of town. We felt very safe as a family."

"Only con! It is a little hard to find but once you figure it out, it’s easy.Just look for the gorgeous huge wooden door and ocean blue walls! Pros! Everything Clémence is magical. "We had a great stay! Upon arriving we had some difficulty finding the house and Clemence was nice enough to ride over on a bike to meet us and take us to the house. Four women shared the house and we felt like we had plenty of common space to be together when we wanted to, but also enough room and bathrooms for privacy at night and in the morning. We really enjoyed the pool and would definitely stay here again!"

The only downside is its on the edge of Tulum on an unfinished road so you need a hire car to get most places."

"This house is so beautiful. Clemence shared some taxi drivers with us that we had on speed dial for our stay. I felt very safe in the house because the front gate has a key in the front door which is made of glass has a key as well. One side of the house is made completely of glass so there’s so much light coming in. Only thing I would warn about is the birds that like to make noise at 7am sometimes lol. You can’t see them, but you can hear them. All in all we had a wonderful stay. Thank you."

"Casa Flamingo is a little piece of paradise in Tulum. The design of the home is impeccable. A very open concept, glass windows allow you to feel like you are part of nature. The house comes with a beautiful pool to help you cool off. The 6 bikes available helped get us around town. It is the perfect home to hang out with friends. The house is only 3 min away from the local liquor store and about 8 min away from town, on bike. Their shuttle recommendation to and from the airport with Claudio was very reliable."

"The pictures definitely don't lie. This is one of the best AirBNB's I've stayed at. The private pool is perfect for those lazy, hungover days - or just a morning dip, as I made sure to do every day. The location is in a quiet subdivision that's undergoing a lot of construction so it's not the most appealing, but I felt very safe. They added 4 bikes to the inventory for 6 total, which was absolutely perfect for our group of 5. We rode these all over the place! Tulum is an absolutely beautiful spot, but go there soon before it gets too touristy!"

"We loved our time here. The property is very very nice, very private and very quiet. A quick bike ride to the main downtown strip and many great restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Groceries are also just a few steps away. The beach is a 15 min car ride or about 35 mins on bike. For the price, you cannot beat this level of comfort, luxury and amenities. I slept like a baby in this home. The pool is just incredible any time of day or night. I personally started everyday by jumping in for a quick swim. I would return here without hesitation."

"We had a wonderful stay at Casa Flamingo. The place actually exceeded our expectations in terms of spaciousness and layout. The hammocks are great on a nice day, and though the pool is not heated, it is very refreshing in hot weather. Everything was as detailed and the only minor issue we had was one day the internet was out, but it was nobody's fault in particular, just a city issue. If you don't mind being a little tucked away or walking moderate distances, this place is pretty ideal for a medium sized group. I would recommend staying here, especially with such a fair price!"

"Casa Flamingo is exactly how it’s described, and Clémence was super responsive when we had questions or issues. The pool was great for laps in the morning, and the layout is very spacious (just the right size for 3 couples.) The only setback we had was that because the house doesn’t actually have a specific address (just a street), our shuttle drivers and taxis had difficulties finding it. Renting a car might have made that situation easier. However, there is a market just around the corner for necessities (you will need Pesos there) and there are a lot of tasty taco and smoothie places within walking distance. Also, just a heads up that you ARE in the jungle, so expect spiders 🕷 and lizards 🦎 haha. Overall, a great stay, though."

"Casa Flamingo was the ultimate getaway location in Tulum. The open concept of the air bnb made it ideal to interact with my friends and entertain. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with a view of the pool; refreshing to take a dip in. There is also an outer and inner door that both lock so we felt safe the entire time. You can walk to the local strip to dine or take a taxi to beach. Clemence and Stephan were always responsive to all our question and eager to help with transportations and restaurant recommendations. They also stay close by which is perfect if you need help with something. They were overall AMAZING hosts !!!!"

"Pictures do NOT do this place justice!! Everything about it was perfect. The layout, the amenities, the cleanliness, the tips provided by our host, it was all spectacular! It has a lot of natural lighting and space for the whole family. & The pool is exactly what you need after a long day of exploring. We rented a car and found that to be the easiest way around Tulum. Bikes were also provided, which our hosts made sure worked properly, and we biked every evening around the neighborhood. It’s far from the beach area but close to the “centro” ( center) of town, so keep that in mind. Overall would recommend. 10/10"

"My group recently stayed at Stephan and Clemence's place. Check in was super easy and since we had a picture of the front gate, we easily found the house. It's in a residential neighborhood that is building more homes. The road to the house is unpaved, but we were fine in an SUV. Tulum is a small town, so it's easy to navigate. The hosts were very quick to get back to us with answers to questions and any assistance we needed. The pool was also very nice and it was good to use it to cool off after a day in the hot, humid jungle. The pictures describe the house very well. The water in Mexico is not drinkable, so we had plenty of bottled water, but we did use the tap water to brush our teeth."

"The house is just like the pictures, very nice and stylish. It is perfect for families with kids or groups. The only inconvenient we found was that we arrived to Tulum late and it was dark. It was extremely difficult to find the house because there was no sign at all which could help us to identify the house. Additionally worth to mention is that the house does not have a washing machine, which we missed. The rest was great, Stéphane und Clemence left is water in the fridge and many amenities for the kitchen. The location of the house is just 5 min by car to the beach, so just perfect. "I stayed five weeks at Stéphane and Clémence’s home in Tulum. Their home is a lovely and modern home in a very quiet and safe neighborhood in La Veleta in Tulum. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. I really enjoyed how private and peaceful the garden is as well as getting in my daily swim in their cool and refreshing pool. Stéphane and Clémence are a wonderful couple that quickly respond to any questions you might have during your trip such as phone numbers of trusted taxi drivers and arranging airport transport. I throughly enjoyed my stay at their home and highly recommend to anyone coming to Tulum!"

"Pros: the house is really nice and brand new and with a lot of space. The 3 bedrooms all have attached bathrooms which is fantastic and large open space living room to hangout with friends. The hosts are very responsive and easy to communicate. Secluded and quiet with not much noise or disturbance. Cons: the house is in a new area that is still developing and so transport is very difficult if you do not have your own car. Center of Tulum is a 25-30 min walk and getting cabs was a big hassle especially at night. Biking is a good option to go to the beaches but doesn't help while going out at night. Sorry about your transportation problem, you should have mentioned it to us, we could have recommanded you to some honest taxi driver. You were here from the 29th december to 1st january, which is the busiest time of the year in Tulum, therefore the taxi business was a real hassle all over town. I hope you didn't struggle too much to get home, happy new year !"

"Just returned to the winter in D.C. from a quick stay at Stephane and Clemence's house in Tulum. These guys will certainly have the "Superhost" designation in short order. Quick responses to our questions both prior to and during our stay. Although it was only my wife and I, the space is ideal for groups and families, especially as each bedroom has a full bathroom en suite and there's a half bathroom just off the living area. Probably one of the most comfortable mattresses we've experienced at an AirBnB. Ideal for an escape to nap, relax by the pool and have a few cold beers...or simply as one's headquarters for exploring the town and beach."

"The flamingo house was a great place for our trip! Central to downtown strip and popular beach strip. You could make either by bike but it is a ways away. Car was more convenient since we had one but the bikes were super handy when we decided to just explore around a bit. WiFi connection was great and consistent during our stay as in some places it’s not always as reliable. Clémence greeted us at the location after we got in and gave us a few tips made sure everything was ok. Spacious place with bathrooms in all rooms. Pool was lovely but it is not heated (not an issue with 80° weather though😉) but it was refreshing after visiting the ruins or walking around town. All in all it was a great place for us to enjoy and the hosts were incredibly helpful and super responsive to any inquiries we had prior and during our trip. This was a girls trip but I would definitely come back here with my family without hesitation."

"We really enjoyed our Stay at Casa Flamingo. Clemence was really sweet and responded promptly when I reached out to her with any questions. She even offered to come find us when our taxi got lost on the way to the house, upon arrival. Once you do find the house, you realize how close it is to town and getting around is fairly easy and definitely bikeable, during the day. We didnt end up using the bikes since we were only in Tulum a few days, but we saw plenty of people riding to and from town from the neighborhood. They also provide water which is nice since you can't drink the tap water in Tulum. The tap water is also sea water so dont try to boil it for tea. We learned that the hard way haha! Everything in the house is just as pictured and it accomodated our group nicely. We would definitely stay here again!"

"My family and I stayed at Casa Flamingo for 7 days and had a spectacular time. The photos accurately depict the house--bright, airy, clean and stylishly decorated. We were a family of 7 (traveling with 2 kids, 2 grandparents and uncle). The layout of the apartment offered privacy for everyone because each room has its own private bathroom. The master bedroom in particularly is nice because it faces a semi-private garden area with private hammock. Our kids loved the jumping in the pool first thing in the morning. The house is walled all around so you have maximum privacy. We also appreciated that the house isn't located in the center of a tourist trap yet is close to the beach and all restaurants. Stephane and Clemence are also gracious hosts. They responded to our questions and inquiries within hours if not minutes. My mother had mobility issues and Stephane went out of is way to ask the local Red Cross for wheelchair options. We would not hesitate to recommend Casa Flamingo to any of our friends or family."
