"Stephan & Clemence were very accomodating, hospitable, flexible, and friendly. The property itself was beautiful and was prepared for us very thoughtfully. The only shortcoming of this place if I had to even pick one was the accessibility of the villa. Often times drivers got lost and the roads were non-existent, but everything else easily outweighs this con. Additionally, there was some confusion post-check out on two incidents in the Villa where Clemence was very understanding and accommodating. Overall, I cannot recommend this villa enough - definitely shaped my trip."

"Had to use the bottom floors room which is not the master bedroom since the master looked like was in the second floor and the stairs are hard to bring a big suitcase up, the bathroom in the room had no privacy meaning the toilet is almost next to the bed and there’s no door in between so could feel awkward if sharing room"

"Clem was super nice and responsive. She helped us get around and honestly her contacts were super reasonable compared to so many others in Tulum (we’ve been here before). The Ac’s worked great, we felt super safe with two door locks and other villas near by. The home was well equipped. Just wish the shower floors weren’t so slipped we definitely almost fell a few times lol. Otherwise great house would stay again!"

"We travelled here from London on a group trip and this was such an amazing space. Very spacy, clean, nice and just as described in the images. The host recommended us a driver who we booked for our entire time from our airport transfers to getting around in Cancun. They made us feel safe, dropped us and picked us up from every location. They were so kind and communicated with us effectively. The beds were so comfortable, rooms were so clean I would definitely stay here again."

"We absolutely loved loved loved staying at Casa hunab! We were greeted by Clemence upon our arrival and was given a tour of the house. She stayed to ensure everything was what we expected. The house was very clean and the A/C was amazing lol, especially after a long day out. She was also a text message away and took no longer than 5 minutes to respond. They also provided us with great recommendations for a Transportation team (Mario) and a private chef (Mos) and I must say they all were AMAZING! 10 out of 10 recommend We will be back soon!!!"

"What a place. Amazing and such a good stay. Host was good too Only thing that you need to be on lookout for: roads to the villa are treacherous - dirt roads with huge bumps. Be careful of the route google maps sends you when you’re going to and from the beach - it tries to send you down a road that cars can’t go on. Our car ended up getting stuck in a place where you can’t get tow trucks. It was a stroke of luck that the host had workers nearby that all came and helped but that took a whole evening off the trip and could’ve ended in disaster"

"We loved the house. They had great recommendations for a chef and transportation. My only two issues was finding the house with the address given It took us an hour to find it and the service was not good so I couldn’t contact them for help. Luckily the Chef helped us get there. My second issue was the 3 scorpions, 1 tarantula, 2 geckos & the flies. We were not warned and had to figure it out on our own because the owners didn’t respond till the next day. No one got hurt but a warning would have been nice. Still not sure how all of that got inside but overall it’s a beautiful home, clean, well appointed with everything we needed. Now that I know what to expect I would definitely stay again."

"The house is just as beautiful as the listing! Clemence was very easy to communicate with and friendly! The beds were comfortable and the water in the showers was strong and stayed hot! The pool was clean and beautiful! The roads are still rough as other reviews have mentioned. We experienced a 9-hr power outage (a 10-mile radius was affected) and apparently this happens so be aware there is no back up generator at the house. Also, heads up there is no washer and dryer available for use, no safe to store your valuables and also no smoke detector. Some minor areas for improvement, but overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return!"

"We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Tulum! The property was even more beautiful and spacious than the photos suggested, with fantastic amenities like a large TV and speaker. The hosts, Stéphane and Clémence, were some of the nicest we’ve ever met—responsive, helpful, and quick to address any issues. While the location is remote with bumpy roads, we were well-informed ahead of time, and hiring a driver is recommended for easy access in and out of the area. We encountered a couple of minor issues (an AC malfunction and a friendly frog in the bathroom), but both were resolved promptly. Our only suggestion would be to invest in a pool cover, as it got dirty quickly, and a dustpan and broom for tidying up. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’ll be recommending it to everyone. Thank you, Stéphane and Clémence!"

"Great place to stay, the property is visually appealing and the pictures do justice to the actual listing. Very private, the pool is great, the music system, the kitchen, and the rooms are all in great condition and it's a great place for an intimate stay with your close ones. The host is very responsive, supportive, and helpful. The only challenge is that the route to the house is very rough and it takes a drive of about 10 minutes from the nearest concrete road so you better have an SUV to help you with the journey. Don't expect to be zipping in and out of the place every couple of hours . Great accessibility to the city and accessible for food delivery as well. Supermarkets are closeby and the location is as convenient as possible for such a massive property in Tulum. Recommended!"

"Was great and clean overall. It is down a really long bumpy road, so not walkable for exercise or to get anywhere. Needed a started roll of paper towels and more toilet paper due to it being hard to get more. Lastly would have loved a closet of cleaning supplies/ a broom just to sweep throughout the week after eating ! But overall very beautiful and loved the vibe of the place."

The only downside was the location (which has nothing to do with the airbnb). Since Tulum is expanding at some point this location will be super popular but until then honeyyyyyyyyyy the roads are a mess! I would suggest renting an SUV or a car with really durable tires. "Casa Hunab is a beautiful jungle home away from the hustle of the city and just a short drive to the beach. The roads are very bumpy and it is extremely secluded, but once you’re there it is peaceful and serene. "This was a wonderful last min 55th birthday trip for 3 and I highly recommend using their private chef we wound up not leaving the house not one time because his food and prices were so amazing w custom menus daily! Truly a beautiful home! Loved the open space, the private pool, the sunbathing deck and the doors that open to the outside. The beds were truly comfortable extra clean, white linens were pristine.. what I really appreciate it is that the towels were very fresh smelling, which is often overlooked in mini Airbnb locations. We did encounter construction noise, but no big deal. The location definitely was not easy to find. There are not a lot of street signs so I would highly recommend using their driver or someone that really knows the area well. Our host was very responsive and met us upon check-in. We highly recommend this location."

"Stephan & Clemence's place is a beautiful house; however, it is not conveniently located. Taxis service in Tulum is very expensive and there were no walkable restaurants, pharmacies, or grocery stores close by. In fact, you cannot get to anything from this place without taking a taxi. The area is still developing and there is a lot of construction around and the road is dirt with many potholes. It takes quite awhile to get into to downtown or to go to the beach area. They did have designated driver, Mario, who was great and always picked us up when we needed him to. If you plan to just stay in and enjoy the house, this is a great place. If you plan to go in and out of town or the beach every day, I don't think the location is convenient right now."

"This home was immaculate! The architect and decor was top notch, it literally looks like something out of a magazine!! The space is exactly as described in the listing. The home had everything we needed for our stay. The host were very responsive and gave us recommendations for everything that we could have needed for our stay. I personally recommend hiring the private chef for your stay because getting into town for food was quite expensive and not an easy task. The home was very spacious and entertaining. I felt safe throughout my entire stay. The home has a lot of safety features such as alarms on all doors and windows. The host greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the home which was very helpful to navigate the house and alarms. There was some construction but the noise was not bothersome at all. I WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING TO THIS HOME IN THE FUTURE! You will not regret this booking!! This has by far been the BEST Airbnb I have EVER stayed in! Thanks for hosting us :)"

"The house is really spectacular and very comfortable . Now , with the price paid, you can't believe that you don't have sinks and dishwasher. It was missing a lot of details , like singles , a cute linen tablecloth, champagne glasses, and there were few glasses of wine ! Not to mention the scary income that the house has, entire blocks of land without any maintenance. Excellent attention from Clemence ***** . "This AirBnb absolutely set the tone for our stay. It was a beautiful, secluded home that gives amazing privacy. As soon as we walked in we were blown away. It was my girlfriends birthday and Clémence was able to help provide us with a bouquet of flowers and cake that was waiting for us when we got there. Also provided was a list of beach clubs, restaurants, activities and so on. She also works with someone that provides reliable transportation. Clémence was extremely responsive and helpful. I felt very safe in this Airbnb as well. All in all it was an amazing stay and recommend it to anyone traveling to Tulum. "The house is wonderful . It is quite “far” from the village in case you want to disconnect a little but also close enough to get to and from without a problem . The rooms are the ideal size and it is a "must" that each has its own bathroom . The spectacular pool.. it's an amazing house.. we'll be back soon .
